We open with Zack Morris skipping off to the kitchen to make a Stacey Cream Pie. Zack Morris hopes this will mean that he’ll finally be rid of his cursed virginity but Stacey just wants to feed him cheese, meat, and butter instead. Oh, and Zack Morris can’t tell Stacey he loves her after dating exactly one episode. They kiss, though, which makes the audience loose their shit.

Cut to the…refreshment stand? I don’t know. Wherever this is, it’s weird they’re getting ready to have an employee meeting here with the only seven employees who matter enough to have speaking roles. Also, Zack Morris and Slater are conveniently not wearing shirts because the producers want all the little girls and gay boys who watch this show to have funny feelings in their downstairs area. Seriously, Slater can be rationalized since he’s a lifeguard but Zack Morris is just randomly not wearing a shirt for no good reason. I guess this is when the producers realized that lust was making the viewers come back.

Season 2, Episode 4, “Call Me”

Season 2, Episode 4, “Call Me”

Episode 4 starts and Maggie and Jason come downstairs to see Ben’s apology letter explaining all about the bad thing he did.

Screen Shot 2014-10-30 at 3.34.19 PM

They start reading it and the narration is soon handed over to Ben. It sounds weird though like they were recording the voice over, but Ben didn’t talk straight into the mike and instead farther away in the same room. So most of this episode’s going to be a flashback.

It’s bill paying day and Jason is as mad as he apparently always is on bill paying day.

Screen Shot 2014-10-30 at 3.39.02 PM

Carol spent 55 dollars on a haircut from Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Jason proceeds to get mad at all three of them because the phone bill for the month costs 216 dollars. One number, in particular, was called really frequently and costs 67 toll price at $2 a piece. Jason immediately thinks it’s a girl that Mike called because Mike’s a player, but Mike denies such thing. Jason calls the number. read more

In the Realm of the Basses. Episode 2×14

In the Realm of the Basses. Episode 2×14

We’re halfway through the second season, and the only thing we really have to show for it are a dead father (Chuck’s dad Daddy WarBass died in an accident), a new stepfather (Hello, Cyrus! As you wish!), bad fashion designs from Jenny, Captain Went to Jail, and a lot of angst for all our characters, especially Chuck and Blair and Dan and Serena. Oh, and Aaron Rose/Creepy Bores. Oh! And Lily’s secret stay in an institution. Let’s hope for a better second half, mkay?

It’s a New Year on the Upper East Side, and everyone is coming back from their Christmas vacations! Serena’s been tangoing (and screwing) her way through Buenos Aires. Lonely Boy Dan was alone (serves him right), and Jenny’s headed back to school! Blair will be ecstatic to have someone to torture again at school. And Chuck is missing. His uncle Jack has been seen about town though, which could potentially be interesting, depending on who his uncle is (hopefully fun evil like Georgina and not boring evil like Daddy WarBass). read more

The New Class Season 2, Episode 16: “Back at the Ranch”

The New Class Season 2, Episode 16: “Back at the Ranch”

I am so glad the country club episodes are over. See, this would normally be the week I had to review another of those abominations! But they’re over now and I can get back to reviewing The New Class episodes that are just horrible. So, I wonder what’s up for me this week. Let’s check IMDB.

Mr. Belding treats the gang to a week-long trip to Gold Canyon Ranch, a dude ranch owned by Screech’s Uncle Lester and his bullying son Clint.

Excuse me for a moment…

Season 1, Episode 3, “Long Day’s Journey Into Night.”

This is a weird freaking episode.

Jason is trying to make a decent Chinese dinner while trying not to set the house on fire. We all know how well Jason can cook.

Ben and Mike seeing the disaster unfolding before their eyes offer to pay if they can just order Pizza. Maggie comes home from work and she feels the same way about her husband’s cooking that everyone else does. Carol walks through the door wearing WAY TOO MUCH makeup and a sweater that belongs to her new friend Annie, which is where she was just coming from. We learn that Carol and Annie plan on going shopping for earrings tonight, as long as it’s okay with Maggie and Jason. They let her go but remind her that they like to meet her friends before she goes out with them. On top of all this we find out that Annie drives. In a further attempt to get out of Jason’s cooking, Mike asks Jason and Maggie if they think Carol and Annie can pick up some burgers on the way. read more
